PACK CLEANING
We recommend wiping your pack with a damp cloth to remove dirt. If the pack is extremely dirty and needs a deeper cleaning, soak it in cool or warm water with a very mild soap. Rinse the pack thoroughly with cool water. If soap residue remains in the fabric, it may create suds if exposed to water or sweat.

DO NOT wash your pack in a washing machine. Machine washing may damage the pack or affect the integrity of the fabric and fasteners, and will void the Got Your Bak™ Guarantee.

RESERVOIR CLEANING
The best way to care for your reservoir is to clean and dry it after every use, especially if you fill the reservoir with anything other than water. However, if a reservoir has not been cleaned after every use, and mold or discoloration develops:

  1. Use hot water and a CamelBak Cleaning Tablet. (Or use 2 tablespoons of baking soda or bleach instead of CamelBak Cleaning Tab.) Mix the solution inside your reservoir and elevate the reservoir above the tube and Big Bite Valve. Pinch the bite valve, allowing the solution to flow into the drink tube and fill the bite valve.
  2. Let the reservoir and cleaning solution sit in the reservoir and drink tube for about 30 minutes.
  3. Wash the reservoir with hot water and mild soap. Be sure to completely rinse away the cleaning solution in the reservoir and drink tube before using again. You can also use CamelBak brushes from our Cleaning Kit to scrub your reservoir and drink tube. Brushes are the best way to ensure you are scrubbing all of the areas of the reservoir clean.
  4. Once the reservoir is clean, be sure to air dry overnight so no moisture is trapped inside, which can cause mold to grow.

These steps will make your reservoir safe for use. If there are still spots left behind, these are permanent mold stains that may not be removable. However, your reservoir is still safe and usable after you’ve cleaned it.

Comments about CamelBak Sabre™:

Bought this product a few months back, And I use it daily. Daily usage range from traveling to work, hiking on the weekends, going to the gym or playing basketball. The 70 oz. Antidote holds enough water for short-term activities, but its good enough for most situations. If using it for long walk/ runs/ hikes, this system could use some padded straps. Besides that, all other issues are cosmetic. I.E.: larger pockets, upgraded delivery system... maybe I'm already looking at my possible upgrade, MilTac MULE. So, for sports or daily activities, this does it job. If you want to stay hydrated for a day or more, I suggest you look elsewhere.

        Comments about CamelBak Sabre™:

        Big howdy, there!
Today, I finally got my "SABRE" I purchased especially as insulated hydration carrier for ice skating, cross-country skiing, jogging and ultra-light trekking purposes.
Well, thorough check did not show any glimps/glitches/curved stitches/leaks etc.
In vain... As usuall, Camelbak does its best.
I already consider myself a lucky owner of black military "MULE 500"(that is my daily pack, normally), so "Sabre" is going to be a "pure" hydrator in comparison to its "big brother" I use as an organizer.
Talking about features of "SABRE", I find this backpack really well and keen made(nothing redundant!), with only small zippered pocket for key/wallet/phone on its front side. Shoulder straps seem to be so thin...Let's see how comfortable they are on running.
The only thing I am going to add on my own, is an insulated tube cover, such as neopren hose cover + nylon sleeve for extra-insulation and improving its reliability in super-harsh conditions of Siberian winter.
And also, I am going to add a hand-made waist/hip belt, copying the same one from my Camelbak "MULE 500".
        Well, that's all.

When I say, "Camelbak", I mean "backpack".
When I say, "backpack", I mean "Camelbak".

Thanks a lot for super-quality, guys!
        I just adore your products.

With all the respect and true to you,
        Pavel Fedoseev,
        your solid buyer from Russia.

This is a great product. I had to call to get the insulated hydro tube but I couldnt be more pleased. Comfortable to wear and this pack kept my water cold for over 4 hours on a hot day. Great customer service as well.
