This water resistant cover protects your pack and its contents from the elements. Attaches securely with a hook and loop closure and drawstring.

To attach the rain cover to your pack, pass the black elastic strap under your shoulder straps, then thread it through the gray woven loop and attach the velcro. Once it's attached, you can pull the drawstring at the bottom of the rain cover so it fits your pack snugly.

We recommend wiping your pack with a damp cloth to remove dirt. If the pack is extremely dirty and needs a deeper cleaning, soak it in cool or warm water with a very mild soap. Rinse the pack thoroughly with cool water. If soap residue remains in the fabric, it may create suds if exposed to water or sweat.

DO NOT wash your pack in a washing machine. Machine washing may damage the pack or affect the integrity of the fabric and fasteners, and will void the Got Your Bak™ Guarantee.

Comments about CamelBak Rain Cover M.U.L.E.:

Camelback M.U.L.E. Raincover packaging says "Durable rainproof cover has 3 attachment points and bottom cinch for a fast, secure fit." and "ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE AND AT: CAMELBACK.COM/RAINCOVER". Step two of the directions inside say "Attach to harness with 3 Hook-and-Loops", and the web site returns "Wipe Out! - Sorry, the content you're looking for cannot be found." The raincover received direct from Camelbak has just one hook-and-loop strap and a short cord loop at the top and the cinch cord at the bottom. (The cover has neither 3 hook-and-loops nor 3 attachment points.) Contacted Camelbak customer service with this information, and they requested a picture, which I sent. Customer service then directed me to the Warranty number. The first person knew nothing about the raincover and forwarded me to a manager who didn't answer and didn't call back. Two days later, I again contacted Warranty, and again, the person had no idea but took my number and this time I did receive a call back the following afternoon. This person told me that the raincover was not defective and when prompted for installation instructions, she emailed a link to a youtube video that showed somebody incorrectly installing the cover (on a non-Camelbak backpack) and complaining that it immediately slid off. Doing my own internet searching, I found one video that showed the correct routing of the tab under both shoulder straps, through the attached loop, and hook and loop fastened back to itself. It looks like it should work, but if I have troubles, I'll add additional straps.
