Very good product

By Pete

Pros

  • Fit and finish
  • Tactile feel

Cons

  • Improved Wet Grip
  • Orientation Of Velcro
  • Wet Grip

Best Uses

Comments about CamelBak Magnum Force™ Gloves:

I have used these in all kinds of conditions, e.g. sun, rain, hot, cold, mud, sweat, etc. for all kinds of things, e.g. at the range, martial arts training, riding, obstacle races, any activity requiring hand/knuckle protection, and they've been bullet-proof, mostly.

When dry, they offer great protection with good tactile feedback (easy to pick up or differentiate small items by feel).

When wet and/or muddied up, the fingertip pads get slightly slippery, so a little more care is needed when handling odd-shaped or smaller items. Also, the Velcro wrist closure tends to loosen or becomes harder to close if the loop section gets clogged with crud. Ideally, it should also be oriented facing out (away from from your body as you walk/run) so the wrist closure doesn't open unintentionally, as mentioned in another review.

I really like these gloves and stashed some away for a rainy day (no pun intended) but would prefer to see a couple tweaks in the future, i.e. closure orientation, improved wet grip.

Comments about CamelBak Magnum Force™ Gloves:

I'm using these pattern from about 4 years. Works almost perfect, still the Manufacturer has to realize at last that the velcro coming on the inside of the palm is just wrong, and re-opens every single time while I'm reaching for my holster. It should be repared or at least left to the end user to decide

Comments about CamelBak Magnum Force™ Gloves:

Just great gloves. I use them every day I play football, i don't know if the hard knuckles are legal but i never gotten yelled at by an official. I used them for months on end practicing 3-5 hours a day. they take a beating and keep providing me with the best protection. the finger tips wore out almost the first time i used them. the clarino palm is still fine. but the Kevlar strands are slowly coming out from constantly being beaten, great price for what they provide.

Comments about CamelBak Magnum Force™ Gloves:

The glove is darn comfortable, offer substantially more protection than conventional glove, and don't obstruct hand movements. It is everything you can ask for a glove. The only fault I can find from the glove is that it's not a gauntlet type.If Camelbak made the glove into a gauntlet type with a closure strap to prevent the glove to roll up, it would have been more attractive glove.I would say the same for FR Magnum Force, which is the upgraded version of this glove.

Comments about CamelBak Magnum Force™ Gloves:

Rock solid. I've been using these gloves for over 6 months now. Not cheap, but I think they are the best hard knuckle protection gloves on the market. They have been more resistant to wear than any other glove I have used.
