Not for below freezing temps

Cons

    • Above freezing temps

Comments about CamelBak Cold Weather Gloves:

I've been using them for the last few months on patrol in Texas. They are comfy and well built. They don't offer much warmth once it gets below freezing. Directed traffic in them for about 30 minutes and my fingers were freezing. Good for short stints out in the cold. Would recommend for southern states but you guys up north will be disappointed.

Comments about CamelBak Cold Weather Gloves:

I bought these gloves because I'm a police officer and I need a glove with good grip, tighter fitting, and can access weapon without bulk, keep hands warm.

The grip is good they fit snug on the hand and width of the fingers. But a few of the fingers especially the index (trigger finger) was way too long. I had people who wore much bigger gloves than me try them on and they fit too tight obviously for the hand but the fingers were still too long. I tried to contact camelbak via email and haven't received any advice about the fit. I have to take the gloves off to do anything other than just walking around with them because of the fingers making it hard to feel things to get out of my pocket like a pen and such. These gloves protect your hands a little from the cold but after about an hour walking around for events my hands are cold instantly still in 30 degrees.

I was excited about the gloves due to great reviews but now feel I am stuck with them because I have worn them a few times just to keep my hand s little warm.

If it came down to it and I needed to use my glock I would take my trigger hand glove off and shot. I have practiced with the glove on and I can do it but it is not reliable due to the long fingers.

These gloves are pretty thin like I wanted for winter gloves but for me these are just not tactical gloves that I had hoped for.

These are the best gloves I have ever had, and after 30 years in the Army, 12 with Special Ops - I have a had a few pairs of gloves. They are the best built, most versatile, multiuse glove you can get for the money. I wear these for everything from hunting to working on vehicles... Highly recommended, buy two pair and they'll lasta lifetime.

          Excellent gloves for cold ...

Comments about CamelBak Cold Weather Gloves:

Excellent gloves for cold environments! Recently used a pair for a New Zealand alpine trip and was impressed. Warm without being bulky and a good snug fit without being restrictive. Brilliant grip from the palm while using tools or trekking poles, plus the ability to operate carabiners and tie knots. A well made and thought out glove!
