PACK CLEANING
We recommend wiping your pack with a damp cloth to remove dirt. If the pack is extremely dirty and needs a deeper cleaning, soak it in cool or warm water with a very mild soap. Rinse the pack thoroughly with cool water. If soap residue remains in the fabric, it may create suds if exposed to water or sweat.

DO NOT wash your pack in a washing machine. Machine washing may damage the pack or affect the integrity of the fabric and fasteners, and will void the Got Your Bak™ Guarantee.

RESERVOIR CLEANING
The best way to care for your reservoir is to clean and dry it after every use, especially if you fill the reservoir with anything other than water. However, if a reservoir has not been cleaned after every use, and mold or discoloration develops:

  1. Use hot water and a CamelBak Cleaning Tablet. Or use 2 tablespoons of baking soda or bleach instead of CamelBak Cleaning Tab. Mix the solution inside your reservoir and elevate the reservoir above the tube and Big Bite Valve. Pinch the bite valve, allowing the solution to flow into the drink tube and fill the bite valve.
  2. Let the reservoir and cleaning solution sit in the reservoir and drink tube for about 30 minutes.
  3. Wash the reservoir with hot water and mild soap. Be sure to completely rinse away the cleaning solution in the reservoir and drink tube before using again. You can also use CamelBak brushes from our Cleaning Kit to scrub your reservoir and drink tube. Brushes are the best way to ensure you are scrubbing all of the areas of the reservoir clean.
  4. Once the reservoir is clean, be sure to air dry overnight so no moisture is trapped inside, which can cause mold to grow.

These steps will make your reservoir safe for use. If there are still spots left behind, these are permanent mold stains that may not be removable. However, your reservoir is still safe and usable after you’ve cleaned it.

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

Fits everything you need for a 3-4 hour ride. If I need more hydration capacity I can stuff a soft bottle in it.

The best part about this pack is the low profile. It's great for ripping through trees and doesn't ride up in the steeps.

For a day pack you can fit a coat over it which is something no other pack can claim.

I would add more volume to the lumbar packs.

The key/tool pouch should be on the bottom not the top. I fall more often on the upper part of my back than the lower part and have smashed alot of small parts/tool having them up there.

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

The design of the the new CHARGE 10 is superior in every detail.
from the adjustable ergonomically designed shoulder straps
to the attachment point for the helmet.
This is by far one of the BEST PACKS EVER.
It's storage capacity is more than ample for the days needs
including a emergency medical kit & bike repair supplies.
The only shortcoming is it's H2o capacity, Being a long distance
cross country MTN bike rider I drink a lot, the 2-LITERstorage is
great. Butt i find my self running short on distances of more than
30 miles in extreme heat. In places like lake SONOMA with vertically challenging terrain

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

I decided to give this pack a try - even though I was skeptical about a lumbar style for mountain biking - and boy am I glad I did. The pack is perfectly balanced and I hardly noticed I had it on, even when the temp hit the low 90's. I love the easy access to the bladder, the wide mouth and the quick disconnect of the hose.

The pack itself has way more room than I expected. Only downside is the pockets in the interior aren't as deep as I would prefer, nor are there any compression straps on the exterior. While it wasn't a problem with the load I was carrying (arm/knee warmers, rain jacket, food, pump(s), multi tool, tube & zip ties), if I was carrying less the contents *may have the tendency to jump around.

For the price I expected the Charge 10 to be nice. I was wrong. It's my favorite pack and it is AWESOME!

Not sure where the reservoir usability comments are coming from. I'm had this pack for a year now and have had no problems emptying the reservoir on the trail. I've used the pack on longer rides (with water bottle), short rides and bike parks. Weight sits low, which adds to comfort and ability to get wild on the bike. The pack is light and durable, and dries quickly. Best pack I've owned so far (and I've had many)

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

The "O" ring that attaches the delivery tube to the bladder has a design flaw. It allows the ingress of air, which prevents you from sucking the liquid. This is a problem with a lot of these bladders and Camelbak should have sorted it by now!! Especially at this price!!!! Basically it is useless as a bladder pack.

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

Bought for mountain biking but fluid runs away can only pick up lower levels by squeezing sides.
Comfortable pack with good storage for its size but let down by poor fluid flow although listed as 2 litres always seems to leave 0.5 litre in various segments of resovoir plus I am sucking in air for a good portion of the ride as the pick up point is too high up the resovoir.
I thing the 3 litre version shaped resovoir would be better.

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

The pack is comfortable to wear with weight distribution low. The fluid flow in substandard and inconsistent when Mountain Biking or riding rough trails. I gulped more air than fluid even when reservoir was full, which only got worse as the fluid level decreased. This pack would be best suited for short hikes, 2-3 hours tops.

Comments about Charge 10 LR by CamelBak:

Filled it with 32 oz of water, but unable to drink any. It seal itself to the point that I was carrying deadweight instead of usable hydration. Totally unhappy. I have an older mule that was too heavy for my ride. I also used a military spec 100 oz. before completely happy with those. Camelbak has great products but they missed the mark with this one.
